About the Planning Board
Village Law provides for a five member Planning Board with staggered five-year terms of office. Members are public officers and must comply with all the requirements for public officers, including being a resident of the village and filing an oath of office.
The Planning Board is authorized to advise of zoning issues and comprehensive planning and to review applications for subdivision approvals, site plan approvals, and special use permit approvals.
